Mr. Green
Whodunit

You are not the murderer.  You spent most of the night sneaking from room to room amassing an impressive collection of jewels.  You stole a signet ring from Prince Maroon, an envelope of cash from Miss Peach, earrings from Miss Peacock, a sapphire necklace from Miss Scarlet, pearls from Countess Emerald, a gold bracelet from Mrs. White, and an onyx brooch from Empress Ebony.  You were unable to rob some of the guests; Madam Rose had a guard dog, Burt Sienna was awake, and Professor Plum had nothing worth stealing.  Most risky of all, you had actually stolen one of Colonel Mustard's pair of silver candlesticks before you realized that he and Mrs. White were asleep in his bed.

Deciding to quit while you were ahead, you made your way downstairs and hid your knapsack of stolen goods in the ferns by the veranda, ready for a late night delivery to your fence.  Only when you were back in your room did you realize that you had left the candlestick on the hall table.
